The Mastery Hour
One case. One technique. One hour. Free, monthly, for clinicians who have completed an STTC certification cohort.
Most of you finish the certification training and then run into the same thing. A case that has stalled. A mode dialogue that keeps going flat. A client whose protector you cannot find a way around. The work of getting better at schema therapy is the work of bringing those moments to someone who has seen them before, watching what they do with the question, and trying it next week.
The Mastery Hour is that, formalized. One case each month, brought by an alum, discussed live by the group with Travis facilitating. Sixty minutes. No homework. No certification credit. No registration fee.
How It Works
One alum submits a case ahead of time. A stuck moment, a mode that will not move, a session that did not land the way it should have. Two paragraphs is enough.
The hour opens with the case being read. Then a brief conceptualization, then questions from the group, then Travis offering what he sees and what he might try. The last fifteen minutes are open: questions on other cases, on technique, on whatever is on your mind that month.
Recordings are not made. People bring real cases, and confidentiality matters more than the archive.
